A little bit about Becky Eason, CFP®

Prior to being a student in the business administration program at SUNY Alfred State College I had no idea there was a profession for financial planning. I had always assumed that being in the financial industry meant you had to pick one sector and stick with that for the rest of your career. Thankfully I had wonderful professors who directed me to the world of financial planning where I quickly learned that I could pick a profession that would allow me to tie all aspects of finance into an individual’s life.

I have been very fortunate to have spent my career with Rooted Planning Group since day one. I began as an intern in 2018 and then upon graduation I was offered a position as a paraplanner, which has now turned into an associate advisor role. Being able to make an impact in each client’s life and be there for them as life events happen is so fulfilling.   

I live in Hornell, NY with my husband and daughter. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, camping and playing with my fur babies.
